    Small cat question

    I have a Nanocat (15in hull) with 3s and a 3000kv motor. A x427 prop.

What side would it be best to put the rudder on the left or the right?

    Thanks

        Thank you.

That is what I was thinking but I'm not sure what works best.

I was hoping some of the more experienced would know.

My 15.5" sea rider cat has the rudder to the right side, battery on the left.

My little cats, 13" and 18", both have the rudder on the right side. It that the best way? I do not know but it works on both of them.
My now dead 25" cat that had dozens of hours run time on it over nearly 3 years had the rudder on the right and that one was fine until its death.

My big cat has twin rudders, because they look nice and I like making hardware.
I suspect there may be some drag issues with this setup so will pull off 1 rudder and see if it goes better. While I am doing this I may learn the great answer to your question.
Now I need the weather to settle a bit as it is blowing here right now.
              See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood
