Im probably gonna run this setup : Feigao 9xl , Seaking 180 and 6s lipo on a 42mm prop heard of a lot of people running this setup with no problems and getting around 60 mph.

I am certainly rooting for you to have a speedy boat but i think 6s will throw the magnets off of a 9XL........................Good Luck!!

I wouldnt recommend a 540 9Xl on 6S. Thats over 40k unloaded... Unless your doing 2 saw passes and putting it away.. your not going to last long on that set up... especially trying to push that size boat. 5S would be a better choice or if youre itchen for 6S run a 10XL. But even that in a single power boat, keep an eye on it.

I'm sticking with the 12XL / 6s recommendation i gave earlier....................

The 580s has a boat load of torque. Something you want to push a big boat. I have a 7l on 4s in my mono and even with a 648 it's still under 120.

I would like to run this boat on 4s, will it do the job stock? I want a play boat so I can keep my UL-1 for racing.

I'd rather not go & buy more packs. Or I'm i better off with the apperation?

Quite a few have run it on 4s..............we got 39mph out of it with the stock prop.
