I hope you enjoy your trip and you find someone to share some boat stories with over a beer or two. You will be too far north for me but there is a great bunch of guys around the Brisbane, Gold Coast area if you are going by land.

If you get the time , take your family along Sydney's Hawkesbury river , especially Wiseman's Ferry as it's probably the most scenic of spots in Sydney away from the commercial attractions such as Opera House & check out the " Great Northern Road " & it's history !! . feel it would make your visit more memorable mateee ..
