I didnt see the $60 4s 25c 3300 price before I offered $85 and he took it lol ,I may just be able to afford this after all, thanks again for the heads up! :D
Mine came in today, everything looks great, the installed chinese deans were a free treat. My balancer has a different type plug so I have not cycled them yet, but the voltages are good.

these cells have a lower internal resistance than most cells, so i guess the discharge is even more powerful. the drawback may be that they wont last as long, but hey for the money, and the output, if I get 100 cycles Im happy........
A flightpower V balancer, my understanding is flightpower has the same balance plug as thunderpower, these have 4 blacks and one red, versus 4 reds and one black like the flight packs, and the ends dont match up with any of the supplied adapters. might need a special adapter not sure.
Whiplash if get 100 cycles out of any lipo Ill be tickled pink
Mine came with the poly quest taps. Not suite sure what they look like off the top of my head....Mostly black wires and one red I think.
I got the PQ balancer from hobby-lobby.com and it works well! it is labled with the hobbylobby name, but it's the PQ Balancer. I charge the packs at the balancer's 3amp max, and my packs took 4300Mah....
yeah, I barught mine down to low the first time out :-( But they seem to be doing fine.......After the 1st run I had the pack at 5.6v :-(....then after about 5-10minutes the packed came back up to 6.3 or so :-)
They seem to be good batteries......I'll buy more when I need them for sure!!!

Seeing that these packs were all sold out, and being slightly interested in going LiPo in the near future, I did a quick search and found this eBay Store. The same type of packs are being sold there, with a much bigger selection, and all are BIN/OBO.
Also, what packs are recommended for use in a SV27? I I know the 6-cell NiMh equivelent are 2S 7.4V Lipo cells, but how many MaH are required? If the boat is capable of drawing 45 amps, and the cells are rated 20C, I would need at least a 2500mah pack to be safe. But then, other than weight savings, there'd no point in spending money if I got less runtime than a 4200mah NiMh pack, which I read is equivelent to a 3300MaH Lipo pack by the way the chemistry is. How much runtime could I get with those 4350 packs? Should I spring for 5000mah packs?
And the way I understand it is, you only want to use about 70-80% of the C rating tops.
So for a 45amp SV27 I would say you would want atleast 60amp continuous cells. You could try there 3700 2s packs...or the 5000Mah 2s packs might be nice. I wonder if he is willing to cut the price in 1/2 like the guy with the actual enerland cells did.
I personally might try those cells, but I would'nt pay any more than 45-50$ for the 2s 3700's or 60-70$ for the 2s 5000's.
Just my .02 cents ...Im by no means an expert lol

O, thanks for pointing that out! I did a search for enerland, and that popped up, guess they're not the same
Well, thanks for your input on my other questions. I'll wait until the enerland store has more 4350 packs in stock then.
it's a no-name lipo man. again, from what I read the quality varies. I had some problems with cheap lipo stuff....almost had a fire when a chinese balancer went up in flames. I will never buy off-brand lipo's or lipo support equipment again. Or if I do it's gonna be after a bunch of you guys buy it and tell me it's not gonna burn my house down :-)
and in my opinion, no. They look like cheap packs. I would skip them. The enerland store does have some 20c 3700's 2s1p packs left. 2 of those in a 4p setup would work well. Send the guy an offer for 1/2 what he is asking. I bet he takes it

Doozie its not imposible, im fairly new to boating but im mostly a flyer (electric).
if you pay attention to the amprage draws, you can keep lipos in good cond for a long time. the brand does make a differance in quality like thunder power,
but stay within the C rating, and low volts per cell, and you will have many charges.
for instance, a 7.4 2S 3300mAh 20C rating can only handle 66amps continues,
at 30C burst it can handle 99 amps for short periods like 10-15 seconds. than you have to wait at least 30 sec. till the next burst.
A 7.4 2S 8000mAh 20C can handle 160amps continues and at 30C burst, can go 240 amps for 15 seconds. so, more mAh will not only give you more run time...... but can deliver more power when needed. if your motors are drawing more than the battery is rated for, ( i know rc boaters go full throttle, BURST, the whole race)
and thats what shortens battery life for lipos. I try not to race full throttle, if I need to go faster, I'll prop up and put higher mAh batteries. and as long as the water is flowing out the outlet, i have never heat up my ESC.
I had 3S 11.1V battries in my wing that got charged almost every day for about six month that around a 100 cycles In boating we charge on the week end mostly and buying batteries like crazy, hhhmmmm.........

Im going for the 5000mAh next time, cause not only longer run time you'll be
safe in the amprage draw department. 20C times 5000mAh = 100amps capabilities. just DONT use the batteries for a little while, than pull em out, than run it again............ sv27 esc has a auto low voltage sensing I believe, and it calculates off the battery voltage when first pluged in. if you plug in a lower, half used batery you may go below 3.1V per cell. not good for lipos
