    hydro/ cat advice

I planning on making a 6s boat with either a castle or a neu motor. I was wondering if this would be too much power and or weight to put in a raider hydro 24 in or in an hsx hydro. I also like the hydrocat on dr psychos website but i havnt really heard anything about these hulls or if anyones tried this kind of set up in them. hopefully someone with a little more experience can help me out

Its doable but you have a short boat.It depends on the motor size too.Too much power and your not gonna control it.I have a ul-1 that I put a cchydra120 esc, ccbec, and a Neu 1515/1/Y in.I ran it for about 3 minutes and had enough. This boat is 27"long.I went home and took everything back out and put the stock parts back in.Wasnt enjoyable at all.Way too much power for the size of the boat. And it was ran on 6s as well.If you wana go fast, your gona have to be able to control it somewhat, so Id suggest a longer hull.I bought a 37"cat and put the castle stuff and neu motor in,and Im happy I did.Much better boating.
