I had one. The good news is it is a great handling hull. Glue everything down. It all came lose eventually. Just go over the battery mount, servo mount and motor mount with some epoxy and it will be fine. I gave up on the motor really early in the process. I suggest you take it for a short run and then check the temps often. I ended up using the battery tray as my esc spot and putting the batteries on either side of the motor. It ran pretty wet before I did that. I would also dial up the trim tabs a bit for starters and then bring it down as needed to get control. My tabs looked flush and level with the hull which seemed fine, but bringing them up made all the difference in the world. The prop it came with was some thing that looked like pot metal or something. Ditch it, even if just for a carbon fiber prop to start with. Look under the key word delta force and you will find a lot of my "experiments" with this boat. Props, motors etc.

Or just do an advanced search under my name. I have lots of data on this boat with various props and motors.

And there is more.. get this drive shaft when it is back in stock. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=dh-prb2052
This boat comes with a two piece drive shaft which is kinda a pain. You have to remove the strut to be able to pull the drive cable out to grease it. I ran with the two piece drive shaft for a long time though. I did think that occasionally it would bind. It would stop abruptly sometimes when you let off the juice. Once I put the single shaft in that issue went away and it was much easier to service. Big improvement.

        Best of luck.

thanks... what size prop did you end up using- I have a cf 42 laying around, but it's for 3/16" shaft- I think the stock is 4 mm?

It has been so long ago I do not remember. The prop will fit though. I did have to some dremal grinding at some point for the drive dog. I think that was when I started using the bronze props.
