Reef Racer Batteries

My Reef racer came with a 7.2V 1100mAh battery. Can I run Lipos in the reef racer? If so, will the ESC cutout before the Lipo drains too much? Should use 2 cell 3 cell.

Should be just fine on 2s...................throw something like this in it with the LVC listed also
