CO2 has to be pressurized to 74.97 psi to remain in the liquid state. At any less pressure, it goes straight into it's gaseous state; it will become solid (aka 'Dry Ice') at 14.7 psi (1 atmosphere) at below -78.5 degrees Centigrade. Therein lies the problems to be overcome to use it for FE cooling purposes. I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but not very seriously, as I don’t have the resources to fully explore the possibilities . . . .

I tried a SV motor in my kitchen sink full of water and it did not short out..
so right now I'm trying to rig up this motor to inject water into the can and test it when its all done

At this point I just figure if my ESC is waterproofed, sealed that is, just open up some air vents and make sure you have correct flotation.

if it flips you have to dry stuff out but, it's not the big worry. The batteries on the other hand... you may need to take of wrapping and dry out, then rewrap.

Exactly, you could even make battery boxes too, like a radio box, sealed.

Or just run a low kv neo motor and be done with it... I can't seem to find a prop big enough to get my motor warm...
