    UL-1 ESc with Feigao motor?

Can I use this speed control with a 540 8S motor? Also what are the water cooling tubing sizes for this and the OSE motor cooler. I need to get my Yellow Jacket running this summer and I have a ton of questions as I've never run a rigger before.
Oh yeah i will be using a 2S Lipo if that makes any difference.

I could be wrong but I think LVC on the ul-1 esc is set for 4s lipo.

I use the UL-1 60a esc with a feigao 13L on 4s, works great and stays right under the amperage limit with correct propping.

Okay, well it looks like I'll have to check out some others...maybe an ETTI will work. Hobby Wing also has some water cooled esc's. Maybe I get lucky. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on one right now and the Castle Creations are too much to spend for.
          Thanks guys.

How well I know. I use many Castle controllers for my planes and have been using them for years now. I've had no problem with service whatsoever. However this time I'm going to try the Hobby Wing Sea King controller on the Yellow Jacket as I'm trying to keep the dollar situation down to a sane level. Besides I'm not sure how the boat will run as it is my first attempt at a rigger.

Castles marine controllers have a mixed rate of success...they have been problematic for years.

I've been using Castle controllers for 10-12 years for my planes and have had to send only 1 (Phoenix 80) in for service due to technical error. My hangar consists of everything from Pixie 10 to Pegasus 35 , 40 and 55 to Phoenix 80 and Ice 75 and all esc's in between. They all operated as intended. No glitches no errors. I did burn one up connecting the battery wrong.
It appears there may be some problem with boat speed controls but as far as my experience is concerned, I'm very satisfied with Castle products.

Planes and boats are apples and oranges (sorry for stating the obvious), some people love Castles maries controllers ,,some don't.

Theres a reason that the Chineese controllers are getting more and more popular...they are inexpensive and proving generally reliable.

And , you can buy several for the cost of one Castle.
