The 1y is 1577kv so the .5 should be double that so around 3154kv.......

I am just figuring out what way to go with my BBY rigger.
the 0.5 y has about 3000 rpm on 4s over the 1D so that should be instant speed. Have you run both a 0.5y and 1D? If so does the 0.5 run a bit cooler? Spinning a 2047 at the moment and getting just a shade under 80 mph.
I just sat the rigger on the table and it looks to me like the strut is way out but AOA not far out. I will have to take the rudder off to do it properly and I am running out of time so it will have to wait for my next days off.
I love this rigger.

My (wife's) new rigger has not made it in yet......

I do have one of each of the motors but have not run either. Randy is going to set me up with a pair of SAW sponsons and a pair of oval sponsons. Man I have to restrain myself from PM'ing Randy all the time. I know he's so busy but man its hard to wait.

They need about 5 more of Randy. It must be bad when you go to work to make boats and at the weekend you go play with your own. I think he is into the real Rock Crawlers too.
You are going to love your boat with the SAW sponsons on it. Give it a lot of room to slow down though. It is like they want to keep running forever when you throttle off. Ooops I mean your wifes boat
