    58.1 MPH Syncron

I have had it up to 52.8 mph and it was very stable. That was a Feagio 8xl, 2 in series 2s2p max amps batts, Hydra 120 and a m445 prop.

Fast foward to today, Neu 1515 1/Y, Neu 4s1p 4900, Hydra 240 and a M442 and the GPS said 58.1 mph. It was pretty stable bounced a couple of times, but I only had 1 battery pack in it for the run, if I was to run 2 in parallel it might help the bonce. Ran 6 laps around the course we will race on next Saturday. Temps were good, battery was at 129, esc 100 and the motor was abit warm (need to find a jacket for it) was 150.

I am ready for next Saturday I hope

looks like my DPR does not like vista and the data is corrupt again... ugh

No video, and once I do get some video I need to know how to load it up on here.

Neu 1515 1/Y, Neu 4s1p 4900, Hydra 240 and a M442, batts were right on the edge of my comfort zone.

But I think if I change the power from 1 4s1p battery pack and change it to 2 4s1p packs in parallel it should reduce the temps a good amount. I do need some sort of water jacket for the motor though. I know it wont make a huge difference but may 10 degrees, need to try a few different props.

try a 640 prop that seems to be common with that motor.

I will try the X640 next time out, do you think it will reduce temps?

Yea I am ready for Saturday, but a little worried as it will be my first race but I have a plan so I think I will do allright. I guess as long as I bring it home in one piece I will be happy

Unless you are 110% confident that you could be in lane 1 and and first place at the first bouey, I would run less of a prop the first heat. Run slow, steady and a tight course. I have done well watching the others crash and flip in front of me.

And as I told you when we were talking about motors, you have enough power there to get into trouble. Your boat is going to be much different in race water.

                          Good luck!

The 640 will reduce temps on a free running boat. If you are running wet, your temps will go up.
Don't put pressure on yourself to be #1 across the finish line. Concentrate on finishing the race!! It sounds easy I know, but something happens to us when we hear the word "RACE". LOL

Doug's right. Race water changes the whole ball game! I went into my first race very confident because I setup my boat on a lonely course with no other boats. A few ripples and running in some rooster-tail reduced my ego rather quickly.
