why do you guys think of the trition and the syncron
i like both and am thinking about both of them to have. i love the ballast chamber.
are they good at speeds over 40ish. i plan to do a n2 setup in the syncron and a open mono in the triton.

They are great hulls, I ran my Syncron today with some new equipment and it was pretty darn fast. I have had it up to 52.8 mph and it was very stable. That was a Feagio 8xl, 2 in series 2s2p max amps batts, Hydra 120 and a m445 prop.

Fast foward to today, Neu 1515 1/Y, Neu 4s1p 4900, Hydra 240 and a M442 and the GPS said 58.1 mph. It was pretty stable bounced a couple of times, but I only had 1 battery pack in it for the run, if I was to run 2 in parallel it might help the bonce. Ran 6 laps around the course we will race on next Saturday. Temps were good, battery was at 129, esc 100 and the motor was abit warm (need to find a jacket for it) was 150.

I am ready for next Saturday I hope

I am also interested in these boats. Does the Titon's larger size require a large increase in power supply? In other words would two Li-Po packs in series creating 14.8 volts move it along at a decent pace with the right motor. I'm talking about low to mid 30 mph range.
