    ESC for a mincat?

    Ok,

Im looking at a minicat hydro that needs an ESC.

Question is, given the small size- what options in ESC's do I have?

Go with a Seaking 35 amp. Watercooled, easy to program and an excellent esc.

Yes, Yes, these are awesome. Running a very hot setup w/two of them each pulling well over 40 amps maybe 50.
I would say darn near bulletproof. They are nice and small too.

Agreed. I've used one of the original Seaking 35A with my minicat micro hydro with no issues, even up to a x635.

            Hk ss

I run a small hobby king SS esc in my small delta force hydro. It has a turnigy 2845-3600 wc motor in it that is really too big, but it runs well with the 25/30 HK SS speed control on 2s with a 31mm to 35mm prop.

I have about 8 or 9 of them from the 25 amp up to the 90 amp. I add a watercooled plate, a bec chip to the larger ones and then seal them in epoxy and have had good luck with them.

The mystery and turnigy ones also have a good rep, if you can water cool them yourself it opens up all kinds of possibilities.
