They have a lot of ties. I finally found them. They will hold up to 200lbs. Thanks proper!

Lash multiple cable bundles, hoses and tubing together with HellermannTyton SpeedyTie Releasable Lashing Ties, available at CableOrganizer.com.

I guess you poured some epoxy over it to bond it to the hull or you could epoxy in a tie slot/loop for holding it in?

Actually, the batterys are situated on a platform @ .25 inch over the bottom of the hull suspended on small spacers; the ties wrap under the platform. With less room in the Drifter, I'll use these releaseable ties [ also from cableorganizer] & spot-weld them in with CA or epoxy.

Thanks, Sid. I've used the velcros, just like the speedy ties a little better. Got some serious $$ tied up in the lipos !!

oh i found the website......but how do you like the batteries? are they reliable?
they'er kinda costy so i guess they might be good. what kind of balanceing taps are on them?
if thunder power taps that would be great. thanks

Hi Whiplash, Got the batt's from BBY Racing [see links]. They are great & so far my first set survived several crashes & have got wet twice with no probs. I beleive they're TP taps ; I had to shave the tabs a tiny bit to have them fit the Hyperion balancer adaptors but no big deal.

those are a good choice ; myself I'm using the 4S 30/60 C 4100's in parallel; we'll see how they are for racing this weekend ; wickedgmc is using NEU batt's in his Neu powered Synchron at the race . Depends on how many amps you're pulling for a heat; I have 2 sets & can swap between heats. I'm running 2 boats in 2 different classes so we'll see how they do.

that was my thought to purchase two 4S instead of two 2S and just hook em up in parallel for more capacity and your more versitile to other aplications........
correct? how much were those lipos?

Running 2 4S packs in parallel wil give you the most capacity .Give Randy at BBY a call [see links] ; He'll talk price with you. His service is great.
