    traxxas nitro vee conversion (crazy)

    Last night i got bored and converted my nitro vee to brushed electric.Built a motor mount plate. Im using a rc hydros 10-32 cell 90 amp esc on a 775 brushed motor and 24 cells. Im using a stock villian prop and wondered what yall think it would do.At over six pounds it floats well in the tub, the cg is alittle more up front than i prefer on my boats but just for fun used all my old brushed, nimh technology.

    Any guesses what she will do

      Nitro(now electric vee)

            Alexgar - "Any guesses what she will do", - plow like a battleship............LOL, no, seriously I love the Traxxas boat conversions,...............have two Villain conversions myself(GPS'd one a 37.6)......... I think you may get 25 out of it with proper CG. Let us know how it runs!!

            PS, can you slide your batts back a bit???

              ill slide my batteries back,thanks for the response and probably run it this week end, our neiborhood pond is dry, good hopefully i can find my grim racer prop that broke off in there, and head to the lake if the boss allows me some boat time.

                        put her on the water today and she planed but the power to weight ratio was off so i made a new shaft and put a oct 447 and made a new motor mount with a 6xl i run on 3s.Here we go again any guesses how will it run now its super light 3s 6xl on a 447
