Hopefully the Swordfish will be excellent. I have one thats about to run 10 and 12s in a 1/8 scale hydro. We'll see how she goes. Havent heard of one popping yet though.

Brod, what model kontronic was it?

Shultze I do like but they are not the 100% bulletproof ESC that people assume they are, I know someone who has 3 40.160's and a couple of them have been back to shultze a few times. one had issues just a few weeks ago on a medium sized plett. Popped a cap, after replacing the cap - still no go, back to shultze... I just wonder if the cost of shipping it back and the repair cost would end up making it one real expensive ESC

The turnigy monster looks to be ok for the money, will be interesting to see if it can be repaired
This kontronic, looks like its discontinued now though.
My pal runs his with no watercooling on his boat

The spin looks nice... But being an airplane controller I'm sure it's designed to get alot of air and I would rather have something factory Water cooled rather then upfitting...in case a need for warranty is needed?
