    What are my cheap esc options?

    Hi, selling a boat that someone wants complete, what esc should i be looking at for a 8xl on 4s with a x642 prop? boat is a catamaran.

        i would recommend a turnigy 120amp marine esc.... most reasonably priced at $49 through hobbycity and a great esc!

          Go for the seaking 180. More headroom for bigger props. Under 100 bucks.

              I was gonna say a 180 too...yet hes using this as a tool to sell the boat... so I figured hed save $30 by going with the 120 and it should be fine for the setup hes looking for:) but you are totally right rumdog... I would go with the 180 for sure if it was mine:)

                Hobbyking sells them. Find them on ebay as well. They are excellent esc's.

                  the guy that's interested is new to Fe so 1, i dont want it to cost him a fortune 2, i dont want it to blow on plug in without a warranty.

                    esc

                    turnigy esc's are as reliable as any other good esc on the market... I own (4) 180's beat the heck out of them.... hardly even get warm and are very easy to program.... these have a GREAT reputation....
