I am building a 39" mono. I have Hydro 240, Feigao 540 14xl, 6s 2p 5000mah. Anyone have a prop recomedation? I also have a 32" mono with the same components except I was running a castle 2200kv..... extremely fast but burned a few esc's. That is why I am looking for more some help on this build. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am running a df 39" copy.... I think a 540xl will be stressed out pushing that hull...hope you are not expecting much.... the 2200kv neu would even have a heck of a time pushing it.... those size hulls are more in need of a neu 1527 or such..... if I was trying to get by on the cheap I would put a new age outrunner in it... like the scoprion 4025 or 4035.... -

totally.... no question that is more what the 540xl is made for..... a 39" mono is alot of boat.....
I am running a 2250 12T High Amp Lehner and it is stressed as monos are not easy to push through the water.....
I would be looking into a NEU 1527 to push that boat.... Steve has one with a 5mm shaft still at his store on sale.... its the right motor for this size boat:)Comment

I like the M445 on my 32" mean machine and my drifter L.... also maybe a x442 .... I think these both would get you close on your 32" hull......Comment

I am not the most educated but given that you won't have crazy high rpm on 6s (the 14xl is less then 1200kv.... almost a 7s or 8s motor for most performance) with that motor I would estimate high 30's to low 40's.... you may also want to try a x642 prop......Comment
