    Blind....maybe !! Mean Machine ?

    What is the measurements for the stuffing tube on a mean machine for electric power. I could not find that answer or I be gettin old and blind. Anyone have a answer...thanx.

    wouldnt that depend on where you want your center point taking into mind battery placement and other electronics. I think reddy watts has some great basics in the building a reliable brushless thread.

      28-33% from back of hull I think were his recommendations

        thanks, I saw and read the post's just looking to see if there was a exact mark but I'll use a good central point plus the 28 to 33 % and take it from there. I might have to turn it into a james bond flying thingy with retractable wings...lol. Thanks for the info Mich. Maniac.

          I have the rear side of the motor mounted 9 inches from the back and the stuffing tube exits the hull at 6 inches. The balance point with 24 NiMH cells is 8 3/4 (30%)from the rear outside edge. It will be different with lipo's. The bottom of the strut is 1/4" above the bottom of the hull.

            Thanks Reddy that will help a bunch. Here's a funky question.....Has anyone ever tried putting a adjustable wing in the front between the sponsons to help like keep the nose down ?

              I dont think you will need it with this hull. Fluid has run the MM at 60 mph without one.
