Hello again and thank you to all who have answered my questions along the way. I have accumulated all of the necessary parts to build up my Titan 29, but I'm having trouble getting out of the starting blocks.
Drilling the first hole seems rather intimidating, and I'm having trouble locating the exact center of my transom. My measurements don't seem to line up with what looks to be the center when sighted down the keel. Is there an easy way to do this??
Also, I have acquired one of these etti motor mounts: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=etti-h009 and was wondering about the best way to attach it to the hull. The hull is lined with CF and I was thinking about making up some CF "L" brackets, and then laying it all in together with some more CF and some epoxy (or jb weld? suggestions?). Is there an easier or more effective way to do this? What do I do if I want to mount the motor ahead of the CF mat in the hull and go directly to the fiberglass? Would Shoe Goo alone solve all of my problems?
Lastly, to tie my long-winded queries together, Is there any reliable trick to making sure that the motor itself is centered in the hull?
Thanks!
