    DF-33 Hatch Lock

This is what I just made.
Will this hold the hatch when doing acrobatics???
Should I use hockey tape anyways on the top of it to make sure H2O is out?

You will still need to use tape on the hatch but you now have that hatch pretty well secured to the hull. I dont know how the hatch/ hull will react to flex during impact but theres one way to find out. Good looking job!

Looks like it should work well. I've been looking for a good way to lock the hatch. With all the money we have tied up in these boats we should do whatever possible to keep them afloat.

Is this something you make or bought? If there was a way to put a rubber washer on the bottom of the hatch lock against the hatch it would keep the water out as well as absorb the impact of a crash.
