    HOR boats?

I'm new to the forum and have been reading 'till my eyes started to bleed, so much info. I'm getting my first boat soon (a compromise, she want's to rent a cottage for a week with the in-laws I get a boat) ) I'm not sure how rough the water will be so I've decided on a deep vee to be safe and the 32" from HOR looks really good for the $$. All of my lipo's are 4 cell or matched pairs of 2 cell so I'm good to go there. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with their ARTR boats?

    thanks in advance

While I don't personally have one a couple of guys have them and the electronics are shady. There is a 29" Delta Copy in the swap shop. Good price with good hardware. Accompany that with a SV power package and you'll have a great running reliable boat for almost the same price But better hardware and electronics.

I had been looking at that one but I have zero experience with boats and was looking for something that was pretty much together to start with and learn from, and with these I won't have another AM rtr radio to ad to my collection in the closet. lol.

That boat is pretty much setup for you. Just get the power package and drop it in along with your rx. It will work great on 4s with a X442 to start. You could opt for more power but the SV package is proven and decently fast for a first time boater. The SV motor will also spin a decent size prop.

I have the smaller boat, its awesome.

However it doesnt like much anything over 1" or so of chop/wave.

The HOTR boats are basically the same as the one I currently have. I have upgraded the motor to 28 x 68 w/ 3000 kV almost. its a rocket on 3S
