length of the twin motor Genesis flex cable

Hey Guys;
I am in the process of building a twin motor Genesis ,which is my first big build.I have been sitting here scratching my head on how I determine the length of the flex cable.Could someone inform me of what I have to do. Thanks

Get a rough measurement and buy long cables. I usually start with getting the drive dog in the proper location so the cable will accept whatever props I plan to run. Slide the cable all the way into the collet and measure from the end of the strut to the drive dog to see how much cable you need to remove. Don't forget to leave a little extra for a gap
