I think I've read bad thing from Turborix 100/120, but I've seen smaller Turborix one and they strangely look the same as Mystery, even the 100/120 has a PCB that looks the same as Mystery!!!???
If you need a cheap 100amp ESC go for a Hextronik 120, it'll cost 50$
I personnaly run a Mystery80a, I've had 3 on Ebay for 15$ average, the first one is always in use the 2 other are spare parts, the first one has been flooded twice and is still running fine!!!
On some french forum, they all agree to say that Mystery80a have the best amp/price ratio, they are certainly not the best ESC, motor startup is often not as fast as other top brand but for sport or fun run, it's good enough!
An important thing to be aware of is the number of cell that the ESC can support, Mystery are 16cell max, Hextronik are 20cell max, some other High Voltage are 36cell!!! -
thanks for the info,I was just lookin at the mystery 30A for my mini lst actually so I think it should be fine. and the 100A I probably wont be going over 12 cells anyways. but if thay are crap I wont bother I will keep looking for the hextronic one or the mystery one.
an 80A ESC should be fine for a motor about the same size as the SV27 unit would it not??? not just thinkin about somthing like that for my SW26 as a possibility down the road. as I an having a blast with it in stock form for now though I may put a little bigger prop on it soonComment

I think that for a 27" hull, this will be more than enough, but again it depends of the speed you want to reach and then the power you need to reach it!!!Comment

basically I am lookin for sv27 speeds maybe a little more. not lookin to set any records. I dont race, me and my friends go out and have fun with them on weekends but it is still an unwritten challenge who can go the fastest. one of my friends has a hammer with a HVmax brushless that is insaneComment
