    hyperion STORE mode

    Hi,
Is the hyperion charger smart enough to tell how full the lipo is when it's in STORE mode? For example, if I only use 1/2 a charge on a boat run, then run STORE mode on the charger, will it understand that the lipo is already 1/2 full and won't put much more energy in it? Or does it always assume the lipo is discharged and try to do a half-charge from that point?

No it can tell by the voltage that the battery is close to Store charge and will either discharge or charge the pack until it is at 60% charge. HOWEVER I have noticed that the DUO chargers have a hard time calculating 60% charge on my G3 cells, all other lipo's seem to work perfectly though. Because of that I usually don't use the store charge mode and just set the charger to discharge the packs to 3.8 volts per cell. They will stop at 3.8 on the charger but once the cells sit for a few minutes they will end up right around 3.84-3.85 volts per cell.....right where I want them for storage.
