Yup,,E-Bay,,,,I got mine from a place called "Promise Hobby", they make DF Knock Offs and do have hatches for them.

Hwy Doby I emailed that guy but there has been no response from him yet? I read a old thread of your's when a crash ripped your hatch off too. You said in the thread that you were going to install cowl lock's. Did you ever end up installing them?Team Liquid DashComment

Thats odd, Frank is usually quick to reply, I have bought a fair bit of stuff from him. Mine got ripped off the exact same way, fortunately, the expanding foam in the hull kept everything afloat, except the hatch that didn't have any foam (new one does now). He sells cowl locks that I use on most of my boats now. Even when they flip now, only a few drops of water gets in through the hatch lock.Grand River Marine Modellers

I actually got a set of these Twist Cowl locks last night to try. THey look like they might be able to be taped over to make them water tight.

Two thing i have learned since losing the hatch in my DF29
1: wipe the area you tape with some denatured alcohol every one in a while you will be surprised how much better the tape sticks.
2: glue some foam in it
