short run time

I was testing my jae rigger wiht a 7s using 2s 5000mah turnigy with
my x632 boat ran for about 29 seconds and lost power? My eagletree
log showed I only used about 550 mah but the volts dropped fast.
My esc is a turngy 120 marine and i know i peaked at 151amps.Running
the x432 i would get about 21/2 minutes and pull about 3200mah from the pack

So obvious when your not half asleep...

Hmm, does the ESC still work? Have you tested it since? That seems crazy to dump that much volts in that short of time.... Did you check the batt cells seperatley to be sure one hasnt began crapping out? Sorry I dont have an answer.. only troubleshooting????

What C rating is your pack?

Also, a pretty steep set up. You got some hoo hoos to try that set up, a guestimated 155+ amps continuous on a 120A Turnigy.... Run time shouldnt be much more than a minute on an ESC that could handle it.... You may have cooked something.

If the pack is less than 30c, the speedo is prob hitting the lvc

They are new packs 30c and everything was cool when it came in under 100f
The lvc is set at 3.4
When i use the x432 the max was 138 amps and ran between 80-90 amps.

Id say you bumped the LVC. your min pack voltage went 6.8 and a little bit. LVC could have seen it as 3.4/ cell and shut her down.

I could I drop to 3.2 or would that cause problems ?

I would say definately a lvc problem. Bump it down, but watch your run time.

Id try it, but you may be asking for a lot more than a LVC problem if you continue at that set up. Your exceding what the ESC is built for. Id prop down and call it a great boat.
