I ordered some balanced/sharpened props from FD..after the first week, no response, a couple of threathening emails later, can't find your order, a week later, found your order, a week again...I gave up...ordered some M445, 447 sharp/balanced from Steve OSE, had them at my front door 3 days later.....go figureComment

People are often pissed that OffshoreElectrics doesn't have thins in stock. This is not by design. Its not a good business plan to not stock things. I'm sure Chris Fine doesn't want to not send things. I'm assuming with this statement, but I'm pretty sure he simply doesn't have them to send.
Paul for FastElectricRc has stated publicly that he was just sick and tired of not being able to get things in a reasonable time or manor. So he just plain stopped.
As for an example for OffshoreElectrics, my last hull orders(the manufacturer shall remain nameless) took 8 months to deliver it to me!

Fine design
I have had many dealings with chris fine at fdm.... All of mine have actually been good.... I've always recieved my goods.... I bought quite a large number of items from him.... My fdm mean machine, h&m no step, toysport triton, a couple neu motors, couple nemesis motors, hydras, etc, I always got everything I ordered in a very timely manner... Of course I am only 4 hrs north of him by road as I am in vermont and they are in Middletown.... (still not nearly as quick as Steve gets stuff to me from offshore) I mostly stopped using him because of his prices.... And since now I buy alot of my stuff off forums like this one:) or other vendors that are more reasonable.... I quite often had to leave a message on chris fines voice mail but he always got back to me.... At one time he even gave me his cell number which I don't think I have anymore... I really do think it's too bad he let fdm "go".... I know many have not always been super happy with the quality of his work but the boats I have purchased off him have all been well built and good performers.....Comment
