    brushless ?

Ok here is a good ?
say you have a 4300KV brushless motor and you want to run on 2s lipo but it kind of draws to many amps and is to many RPMs for the props you can use ...My ? is coul you just set your radios EPA so the motor only gets to 3/4 speed and not full 100% speed would this be the same as if you just went with a lower KV motor would the EPA trick give less RPM and less amp draw so batteries and esc stay cooler there for you can run the right size prop and make things run properly and cool?
    Any help will be great
    THANKS

Thats a sure way to damage or burn up your speedo. Just because you limit the throttle travel doesnt equate to running the speedo at wide open. Partial operation of a speedo significantly increases the heat on each FET. Its better to run either a lower kv motor or less cells.

John is exactly right.............in fact it says in the AQ manual that if you run the 60a UL-1 ESC(for example) at half throttle for an extended period, it will ruin it.

Edit: just found it.......exact quote; "If you operate your boat at less than full power for the full duration of the run, you might likely experience an ESC failure"

If a setup draws too many amps, you can either loosen up the boat to air it out or reduce the prop size a little. Cheap suggestions.
