    Jolly prop test

I had to test the rescue cat today so I did a prop test on the Jolly as well. I bolted on the X440-3blade and headed over to the lake. Sorry for the camera work I am a little rust and now spoiled now MrsSjfe has taken an interest in the boats and started filming for me.
Heres how it broke down by the DPR.

Run time 4 minutes 14 seconds.
    Power- 4S-1P 3300mah 1 set in parallel.
    Charge: 6710 mAh
    Battery Efficiency: 89%
    Current Max: 92.29 AMPS
    Avg Current: 29.64 AMPS
    Voltage Max: 16.60
    Avg Voltage: 15.30
    Power Max: 1361.91 Watts
    Power Avg: 415.68 Watts
    Temps
    Motor 112
    ESC 110
    Pack-1 103
    Pack-2 104

MPH....Well heres the bummer. It would seem the navibe got loose and the battery hatch fell off. No reading..I was Pissed. Now compare it to the other video..I think it looks much quicker in this one. I know it felt way faster yet better to drive. I was able to turn WOT with out much problem. The rudder was fully tucked under as far as I could get it. This may have helped also. I think the CG still needs to be moved back again. It just seems to be running a little wet. Over all I am impressed with how a B&S metal prop performs. I need to buy a balancer and work my x438. With the right prop, packs & esc I think this boat will hold it's own. After we return Im going to make up some markers and set up a course. Id like to start getting some times.

looks like youve got a nice solid electronics setup. temps look great, voltage and amperage look perfect if not just a touch low so you could still prop up a touch.

I think your right...but I think pitching up may be a better idea first. I need to do some research and see what props close to 40mm have bit more pitch.

Thats much faster, the boat seems to really settle at speed.

Good looking boat and numbers at any rate. Nice.

Thanks Dooz:). I wish the Mrs was around to record that entire run. It looked really good through the turns. I am still getting some hop on exit. I'm not to sure whats causing it.

Chris It's looks like that because I was driving one handed & nursing it. With the other boats it was easer to record and drive. This one is much faster and cost 3 times more so boring it to her while steering with just my thumb is not an option.

Thats a nice run cant wait to see it wide open through the turns! Try making your turns at WOT it might be why its bouncing.

SJFE, I am discovering that the Supercat tunes in a little differently than previous hulls. Thats what is fun about it all. Figuring it out!

SJFE, does the DPR gives you a graph where you can read the constant amp draw?

Yes but issue I am having with the software is as soon the systems powered it begins recording mission data. so tape up, temp checks ect stretch the avarages. Max an Min data is ok. I wonder if the Eagletree useres have the same issue?

I have the MicroPower and it is possible to tell him when to start recording, after few second once battery is pluged or immediately, or after reaching XXX amp...
But the only way to know how many amp the system drain between start and stop is to look at the graph, because you cannot tell him to record after the start burst!!!

Yeah I have a eagle tree V2. I have not used it much, just plugged it in on the bench and punched the gas to make something happen so I would look at the graph.

I think the graph is about the only way to tell. From what I could see, you kinda have to use it cause just like you, after you tape it and all that, it has been recording idle data, so it throws off the average amp draw.

Really, should'nt you just be concerned about the max amp draw while launching, and the draw while on WOT? The graph should be fine for this..

it's early, felt like ranting. Gotta go to work, later fellas!
