Anyone ever run one in a boat? I need something that will have a deep sound like the old unlimiteds, any suggestions? I am not racing it.

OS Pegasus 300. Sounds like a racing VW or Porsche. 8000 rpm or so, four cylinder boxer configuration. Smooth running and reliable idle.
You could also get an amplifier and flash player and play the sound of a hydro.

How big is the hull ? Nothing sounds like a V12 Merlin or Allison .
Ram Products sells some electronic motor sound devices for E airplanes and boats
Set up right the sounds change with throtle settings . Good chance they have a V12 .

1/4 scale boat and 1/4scale v8!! its a lot of money at 5g's for the engine but it would be sweet, never seen it done!! and sounds bad ass just look up mini v8 on you tube, they have a 609stinger with a drysump, watercooling, supercharged!
