df 35 suggestions

hi all,

got a first test in with the df 35 with a 1527 1y 1250kv and 6s lipo...i only managed 40 mph..i was using an x448 prop..the boat seemed like it could run for ever with this prop..i was 6 minutes into the run and i stopped on my own instead of the esc telling me...the motor was not even breathing hard temps were 84 degrees on the motor and 89 on the controller..battery was 94..do i need to move up to 7s lipo to get 60mph? or just start propping up...i am running a swordfish 240hv controller so i wonder if my timing settings are incorrect...seems like i should be getting more speed here...any thoughts or comments??

I would bump timing to around 15 degrees if allowed. Also I really don't believe thats enough voltage for that setup to make it to the 60's.

Edit: Maybe start at 10 degrees and work your way up checking temps regularly.
