I saw Brian Vega run one in an N-2 hydro about 5 years ago with round cells, of course and it was one of the fastest N-2's I had seen for the time. I believe it was 5000kv. Brian left the hobby shortly after and didn't really do any more development
with them but I would say they had potential for sure.

I think my LSH said they are made in France, only few model that fit the french/european race specs, they appear to be good motors but pretty expensive!
Thanks for the responses. Keep the input coming! I'm sure there's someone that has tried these and can provide feedback. In the meantime, Nick, try yours and let us know how it works for you!
I guess you need to get one one and let us know how it runs.
I did a quick search and most places are out of stock. I'm reading they are discontinued. I wonder if that's for real or maybe it's been replaced by another line of motors.

I bet they are being discontinued because the manufacturer cannot compete with the other outrunners being made in todays market. Look at the power the Cyclon's put out. Not all that much power for what they cost. The Scorpian series of outrunners go beyond 5000 watts. Cyclon didnt have one beyond 1500 watts. Probably just a victim of the changing market place. They didnt adapt so they succumbed.
