    Turnigy Typhoon 500 videos

    Hi Guys

Thinking of using two of the above for a 36 inch sprintcat twin..
Anyone got any videos of a boat running these motors ? Wanting to know speeds and hull from people who are running them also.

I see HK now has a typhoon 600 also, wondering if I should use two of those instead for a good dose of overkill

IMO you won't be able to turn a big enough prop to move a 36" boat without toasting the 500's.

I am currently running a pair in a 32" HOR cat turning a pair of 442's. That's about all the heat they can handle.

    All the best,

    Ray

thanks RayR, If they are at their limit in a HOTR then no, wont be any good to me for the 36 inch boat.

I thought I saw one in a delta force 33 somewhere, just cant find the thread anymore

Might have to go with the twin 600's or something sim, Really only going to be a play boat. I do have a modded kb45 that doesn't get too hot or vibrate and a 6s setup, but im thinking twins is cooler :P
