Good size lipos for 700`s brushed motors?

I still have couple boats with big brushed 700 motors.I use either an Astroflight 212d or an Rc-Hydros esc on them. What would be a good safe size lipo for this combos?
I`m thinking running them on 2 packs of 7.4V 2S 20C with at least 3500mah.Can i go 25C or higher on them?.....LMK what you guys think and or use,..Thanks,...Al

Al: The C rating is what the battery can provide. Your 20/30c batts should be sufficient for the brushed motors as they don't draw as many amps as the brushless. Increasing the C rating will just cost you more. I'm running 2s 5000mah 20/30c in series and have had good results with my 700 and battery temp was 100 degrees. Hope other posts will shed more light on this!
