    hydro help please

Wanting to build a 24 raider hydro. Want to use 6s feigao 12xl and a sordfish esc. Is that setup ok. Should I run a bigger or different esc. Not going to race it. Just want to go fast and be reliable. New to boating. I have heard of some guys in this forum running a similar setup. I haven't bought anything yet. Trying to do some research. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like a good setup. Which prop will you try first?

Not sure. Maybe a x640 or 642. Any ideas?

I'd start with an Octura 1640, then check temps. After that, i'd try an Octura 1740 and an Octura V937/3

I ran mine (OSE Raider Hydro) with almost the same setup 6s with a Feigao 10xl on an Octura V937. Boat was way to fast. Had to settle it down with a 13xl same voltage with an Octura M545. This boat is very stable in the low to mid 60mph range. I loved this hull. I lost radio signal one day and it ran straight into a pylon ( at around 60mph). I did repair it and put 2-part foam in the sponsons for reinforcement and floatation. If I can be of any assistance just send me a PM or post here. I'll be watching.

I saw that, I also stated that it was too hot with 6s so I switched to a 13xl as I wanted to keep the 6s voltage.Break out them glasses Danny........LOL
