    tfl hobby on hobbyking?

    amazing,
    http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=11241
after removing the stock esc from mine took out the water cooling plate, and found it to be made my TFL hobby.

the TFL hobby genesis that OSE has recently been testing is the spitting image of the genesis on hobbyking.
TFL hobby also happens to have an "Apparition" boat, as does hobbyking. i have one! and the hull is identical to that of the TFL hobby boat (as seen on their website).
    im confused...
can anyone link all of this? from what i understand, hobbyking is stocking TFL Hobby products and re-branding them...?

Yes, they are all the same boats. The apparition is the same one that HOTR has been selling for a couple years now as well.

They are both made by TFL as are a bunch of other boats. Hobbyking, HOTR, etc. just rebrand them. Neither of them make anything.

          Not quite true.

HOR add value by customising the boats so they offer "race spec" as well as the standard spec. My Genesis cats are an upgrade to what is available from Hobbyking/TFL.

Yeah, I can buy TFL stuff in any state of completion also and then add different motors, esc's, etc. Joey Cheung at HOTR does that.
