    Brushless blackjack advice

Im lookin to put me together a new boat. I sold my wave shark about a year ago and am really missing getting out on the lake. I did the mods that steve recommended and i wanna say it would do around 30ish. Anyway it was fun, but didnt handle real great. I really like the looks of a catamaran so i really want to build that style of boat. I see alot of you guys have done a conversion on a blackjack 26. Is that the way to go? Or should i wait till steve gets in the mean machine hulls again. Also could anyone give me an idea of what they have moneywise in there blackjack conversion? I appreciate the help and the advise

I would go with the Mean Machine if you can wait. It is a better built hull and will perform better.

Yeah it sure looks like it from the pictures. Wish we had some guys that did some racing around here and i would feel better about investing so much money in one.

Take my word for it. It's still extreamly fun and rewarding running them alone. Pluss just video and upload it like the rest of us loners do. If you like it plan a trip. We are in the process of planning some for next season now.

Well i just bought a sv27 on the scratch and dent section of tower, so i hope that will give me a good start on parts for building my cat. Is it possible to use most of the hardware on the cat?

I did a search on BLACK JACK but only brought up 2 pages. Are you talking about the Black jack manual?

i have a bj26 w/ sv27 motor & esc. tlr skater inline drive setup running on 12 ib3600`s and it runs really good.

i hate to sell it but i really want to build a rigger and need the cash.

enjoy your build , a fun boat when set up right.
