Cable or rods ?

Which would be better for my steering linkage on my VS-1 FE cable or rods & why ?.

I have only used solid rods so my opinion is biased. Cable is better due to conformity in the routing. Its difficult to say which is overall better. I prefer solid rod but thats due to my build technique. Not based on side by side comparison. Everything I have read and seen clearly says cable is as good. Someone who has more experience should chime in.

I prefer rods I have tried cables and the steering would become sluggish and sloppy. I also had trouble keeping the cables centered and equal to the servo. For my builds I use rods. Personal preferance.
