    Need help with props, please help

    IM NEW AT THIS, SO PLEASE, ANY INFO WILL HELP. IF MY MOTOR HAS A RPM OF 35,200 WHAT PROPS WILL I NEED TO GO OVER A 100MPH? IM RUNNIG TWIN SCORPIONS (HK-4035-800KV) ON 12 CELLS, THE BOAT IS A 41 FALCON. I USED TO RACE OFFSHORE BOATS, NOW IM INTO R/C BOATS. IF THERE IS A PROP FORMULA RPM'S/ PITCH TO MPH PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WANT TO KNOW WHERE TO START. THANKS ERIC

    Oh boy, well you can use the calculators on the OSE web page to get a close start to where you want to be mph wise but what ESC's are you using? 12S and 800kv motors would require something in the mid to low 60's mm wise for diameter and likely require much pitch. Thus requiring a heavy load on your motors and esc's. 100mph is obtainable but play with the FE calc a bit first and watch your wattage and amperage in the results as well.

      looks like 65mm with approx 20% slip will get your there. 1.4 pitch would do.

          I always go all out in what ever i do. (can you tell). I am going to use a onboard gps with recordings for everything, engine and esc temp's, also using a hand held device so my buddy can tell to let off before its to late. Lol
