Looks pretty cool... Just make sure it satisfies these:

vi) No boat shall have an afterplane* greater than 60% of the total length of the boat. The afterplane will be measured from the back of the front sponson planing surface to the transom. Note: The afterplane is the entire main hull aft of the sponsons; i.e. the "fuselage".

vii) The width of the transom bottom shall be no less than 65% of the width between the inside edges of the front sponson planing surfaces. An exception to this will apply to scratch build scale designs of full sized boats that are full bodied 3 points hydroplanes but have an afterplane that tapers sharply at the transom. Example: Lauterbach shovelnoses.

That looks like the plug Jeff from insane boats was showing around the pits last weekend at the SAWs.

Man that looks great, wish we could see the underside of the hull. That seems to be a perfect size for motors, lipos, and hardware.

Sure does look like the sport hydro Jeff had last weekend.

That is Jeffs new sport hydro. The bottom of the hull looks alot like his larger gen 4 gas hull. Lots of trick stuff under there. Jeff is also going to design new hardware like what is on his gen 4 boat. Me and tony will have a chance to run this boat as soon as Jeff gets done with it. At least another month or so. I will run a p sport setup in mine.

Daren, we made sure that the boat would be namba legal. The boat will be made out of epoxy and have a white primer finnish and have nice hardware for those that will need it. We will get some video of the boat after were happy with the way it runs. Jeffs ready to change the plug if it doesn't run like he wants. Then it will be for sale to the public.

Mark and Tony.........Please feel free to use my lake and shop for testing. Sounds like a good project. Love the look of the boat. Will it be running something like a 1515 or larger? Tony, you can race it when your top secret Wave Jumper is finished! Are you really going to put a Helo Pad on that thing for one of your many electric copters?

Joe, thanks for the invite. Jeff wants me to do the P-Spec testing; I have both a UL-1 and Proboat motor slated to be tried out. Mark's doing the P-Sport testing- a 1515 1Y or Castle/Neu equivalent could work well along with some others. Expectations are that this boat will be the "missing link" in the 30" category that many of us have hoped for, and with Jeff's expertise producing winning hydro hulls for the IC crowd it should be the "go-to" boat in this category.

Tony, I would love to try one of my 1515 clones for direct comparison. Mark and I briefly talked about this. I can full Eagle Tree the boat so we could do some side-by-side evaluations. I am still running it with no water cooling, just one of Brian's 12 vdc fans, and temp is not a problem.

PS, thanks for sending the pic of your Wave Jumper build with the small Helo Pad on the back so you can fly one of your many choppers from it. Excellent idea you have to combine FE and electric helocopters. Again, maybe a new race class!

Joe, since I only have a 1527 1d to try I would be interested in trying one of your motors.
