Two more FE records set !

In addition to N-1 Hydro & N-2 Mono, Mr. Brian Buass also took the gold in :

    N-2 Offshore - 62.40 (or 62.50 mph, can't remember which)

    N-2 Sport Hydro - 71.22 mph

    Way to go Mr. Snowman

Jan, Randy & Bill had some great runs, but only Randy got the Gold yesterday with his S-Sport Hydro - 84.14 mph.

I guess 100mph is not too far off. I am optimistic!

            Congrats to Brian and Randy!
What kinda numbers did Brian run in N-1 Hydro and N-2 Mono?

I can't wait to get back to the SAWs someday

              Chris,

Brian did 42.91 in N-1 Hydro

              63.70 in N-2 Mono

When you get back into it, remember the SAW's motto :

              "Tune For Maximum Smoke"

I beleive the hull was one of Brian's own design/construction.

N1 Hydro was Darins hull, but an old version of one of his riggers,
                  the N2 mono was a 26 Delta

The hydro hull was one I framed up in 2005 and never finished. I gave it to Darin to play with and one of our mutual friends ran it at the 2006 SAWs but the lights never picked it up. I'm going to have to build a new boat to see what the potential really is.

Cool Brian! 42 is an awesome speed for N-1.
Were you using one the brushless stock motors?

Thanks Tony, I think I remember how to do that

I have been collecting some parts for my next build but my priority right now is still trying to get my wife well again. Very long and frustrating process but she's a trooper and we have an appointment at one of the best hospitals in the country
this Fri. so maybe things are looking up.

                            Chris,

Here are some pictures of the N1-Hydro...

I bench tested the Hacker E-40, Novak SS 17.5, and the Losi Xcelorin 17.5T... all make about the same RPMs... The Losi and the Novak were almost identical in all respects...
