I trimmed .5 inch off the stinger and also added an extended bracket to set the rudder back a little more. It helped worlds on my DF33.

If this is the case, why does the Speedmaster hardware come like that, with the rudder forward?

Different strokes for different folks I guess. Seriously I don't know. I asked this question my self as making a extension is not as easy as it seems. All four holes will be different in placement.

after many frustrating pissed runs with my cyberstorm i finally solved the problem on this particular setup..after adding tabs, and moving weight around trying props, strut angles, i was at a loss...the solution was simple...the speedmaster 21 rudder was too long i took an of an inch off and the boat is a real rocket now...unbelievable difference in handling..eclipsed the 60mph mark now..hopefully this info may help someone who has been having this same issue..i did not trim my speedmaster stinger on this boat
