the hydro is the same as the hor boat but $50 cheaper. They must have rights to there boats, so you will probably see more of the HOR hardware and kits for hobbycity soon here, I know they have been planning on ramping up stuff for cars boats and motorcycles this spring.Comment

someone on this site said that hobbyking will not actually get the genisis catamaran, or, will not get future orders for it filled, because hobbyking's retail price is too low.
i am not in this business and know nothing about this. but it must have difficult, i think, for a third party to find out about this in advance.Comment

They've got the HOR Apparition cat on there now as well
Seems you have to go thru ebay to get stuff from themComment

do you guys think the apparition cat would be a good boat to get to start up running electrics again? i used to race nitro but have been out of it and into the rock crawling scene and where we crawl is at the lake and it kills me not to have something to run. any info would be greatly appreciate. thanks carl holtzComment

As for the Genesis, as of now all I can say about it is its is a great looking hull.. and my thoughts on it are, you cant get a hull that size for that price, let alone, it comes painted and RTR. You may find it doesnt want to corner well.... but for sport boating I think it could be a great boat. I know someone that makes up part of that "-20 in stock".. so time will tell.Comment

does the negative 20 mean they have twenty coming in? man the price seems really low i guess i'm just waiting for the catch. maybe i'll pick one up. the genesis is a beautiful boat . i would probably use it for straight line passes mostly. do you think it would handle slightly choppy water?Comment

It means there are 20 people that have paid for them. Id imagine they will be getting in quite a few. And yes, I think it will handle a slight chop.Comment
