Not me. I use the exact size brass tubing that the flexshaft runs in freely. .187 shaft running inside 7/32" stuffing tube. Works great!

I still like teflon on the high rpm setups.

I use it in all my heat racing setups, except for a couple of recent Rigger builds, where I'm running wire directly in brass, and exposed from the hull to the strut. Don't know how they'll hold up long term, but they seem to be doing fine thus far.

I think teflon, properly lubed, keeps things quieter. When I think I'm losing power/speed due to teflon liners, I'll consider changing it... So far, no issues if installed correctly.

I'm afraid I am still old school. No builds without a liner. When and if I decide to go wire I will probably not run a liner but since I am in no hurry its going to be awhile.

I use it on flex but not on wire.

Do not try it on a 1/4 drive system it will freeze up. I all most lost a 1/8 scale due to it and did loose a 2280 12T to teflon in a 1/4 flex shaft. Once burnt just a little skiddish.

I still use teflon for my set ups I have tried both ways and prefer the teflon, plus it helps keep water out of the hull, thats more important to me.
