    Need Long 3/16 skegged struts

    Does anyone know were to get a 3/16 skeged strut that will reech the water on a 42 '' cat hull, skeg or no skeg , will modify some speedmaster stuff if i have too.

    A skeg mounts underneath right? Not familiar with them but I just put on up on ebay. I measured it .180 with my caliper but I would assume its a .187

        Get the bigger one 1/4" and then just size the brass bushing down to fit 3/16" shaft size. Speedmaster has it.

        Yes, a skeg is the part on the bottom of the gearbox of a real outboard or lower unit. Actually steers the boat when trimmed out...along with the thrust of the prop.
