Replacing Bearing on 580l

Hi Has anyone replaced bearings on the 580l, does it get pushed out from the inside of the end plates?

Every BL motor I have worked on, Fiegao, hacker, neu, lehner, nemesis, Keda, yada..yada,... the list continues, needs the bearings pressed in towards the rotor if you were looking at it assembled. What that means is you need to remove at least one end plate (usually the front /output shaft side) to change out the bearings. Its actually an easy job providing you have the right tools. You can push pretty much anywhere on the bearings to get it out of the faceplate. But you cannot and must not apply any pressure or strain on the inner part of the bearing when reinstalling the new bearing. That would be side loading the inner race and impact from a hammer can easily exceed the load rating and damage the inner bearings or misalign the inner/outer races.

So to answer your question you would technicly be pushing inwards on the bearing when looking at the outer end plates.
