    Hull question.

Hi I'm new to the board and kind of new to boating. I use to have a nitro vee. Now I have a scratch built electric cat. Its 15in long with out hardware and about 7in wide.

I was wondering what would be a good hull for a brushless motor I have? Its a 8900kv with a 2mm shaft. Its 1.382in long by .826dia. Its a KB20-30-10s I'm not sure who makes it though. Or would I be better off getting a different motor?

I should also mention that I like small boats. Cats and deep Vs.

Also where could I find plans for hulls or kits?

    Thanks

First, let me say "Welcome to OSE"

I honestly don't think your motor will do well in a boat, outside of a micro.

Hulls can be found HERE @ the OSE store

    and

    HERE @ BBY Racing

    and

Plans of all kinds can be found HERE @ Micro Hydros

I hope this will get you started on the road to where you want to go.

Yeah I was reading some of the articles and came to the same conclusion. I may just sell it even though I never got to use it. Then get one that would work better.

Thanks for all the info so far.

Is there any other places that have plans or even hull kits that you have to build the hull?
