Still Sources for GOOD NiMH matched cells??

Are there still any sources out there for race quality matched NiMH Sub-C cells? Seem to be fading into "old tech" land...

Hey Darin, I'm sure you already checked but Tower has Trinity cells in stock now according to their site. If you can wait for a couple of weeks they will have Associated cells in late March and Integy cells in early April.

Good luck and don't keep everyone in the dark for too long!

                        Thanks...

It's not really that big of a deal... I've put together a couple of M-2 boats to run for 2-Laps and SAWs, and only have two, albiet BRAND NEW, sets of 4-cell matched packs. Would like to get a couple more so I have what I need for this year.

I figure these classes are going away eventually, and I have a ton of equipment to support them, including 4 RC-Hydros 4-cell controllers, motors, etc., so I wanted to give it a shot.

First outting is this weekend down in Lakewood, WA, at the District 8 2-Lap event. Testing went well, so time to throw down and see where I end up.

                          Darin,

Try 'K.R.Joye' on RRR and let me know if/when you decide to retire some of these models.

Likely will just hang onto these ones. Some things are just nice to have around!

The Mono with 4-cells in it is pretty fast for what's in there... Should give it a good run.

The Hydro still needs a little tinkering, but I was honing in on things this past weekend, so I'm fairly confident that it'll show well.

Also have an N1 Mono and N1 Hydro ready to go... I'm expecting some big things from those... as big as an N1 gets, anyhow!

Once I'm done boring everyone with these boats... I'll pull out my P-OPC boat and my N2-Mono. That should wake them up.

If all goes well, I'm going to series up the 4-cell packs, and run the N2-Mono as an O-Mono and go for that 2-Lap time as well...

                            Might be a full day!
