    Tenshock motor timing

    Hey Guys
I have a Seaking 35amp esc and a tenshock 3200kv motor. I am currently running 15.00 timing. what is the optimum timing for the esc to be set at. and what is safe ??

    Thanks

It's a 2 pole motor. Set the timing to ZERO

Why zero ?? the stock on the esc was set at 15.....will 0.0 make it slower ??

Just a general rule. 2 pole motors are generally set at zero. 15 is gonna make it run really hot but the Tenshock motors are really tough and pretty tolerant. Where did you get the motor and esc?

Hey the motor came with the boat, and i bought the esc off Hobby King.
Will it go slower on 0 than it would on 15 ??

I don't think you will see a perceptual difference in speed but the motor will last a lot longer!
